The Congress of Racial Equality, founded in 1942 by James Farmer and others, was a leading advocate for equal rights. This striking CORE pin reminds Americans about the history of lynching in the South and says “Break the Noose.” This 1 inch celluloid from the 1960s is in excellent condition. Great item from Ken Gross collection.
