Buster Brown Blue Ribbon Shoes

Every child wanted a pair of Buster Brown shoes. The comic strip hero became an early example of national marketing when the Brown Shoe Co. of St. Louis named their product after him. This is a rare 7/8 inch celluloid showing Buster with his dog Tige. It has a Brown Shoe Co. back paper and is in excellent condition.
