The William Jennings Bryan Ohio Horseshoe is a classic item with a multitude of symbols. It’s a 1908 celluloid that pictures Bryan inside a lucky horseshoe and includes a crown of thorns and cross of gold for good measure. The horseshoe was at the 1908 Ohio State Fairgrounds and was made up of 88 horseshoes for the 88 counties in Ohio. There is a postcard of this as well as very colorful poster of Bryan and the Ohio Horseshoe. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid has faint surface marks, still very attractive and a rare, desirable pin.
