Bryan 16 to 1 No Amalgamation

A rare and intriguing William Jennings Bryan 1 1/4 inch celluloid. this pin features famous Bryan slogan 16 to 1, referring to ratio of silver to gold to back currency. It also says “No Amalgamation.” This term comes from Bryan’s opposition to imperialism in part because he did not believe that foreign races such as the Filipinos could be amalgamated into American culture. Pin also calls for an 8-hour work day. Excellent condition.
