When Richard Nixon ran for governor of California in 1962, he claimed his opponent Pat Brown was soft on communism. So when you look at this 1 1/4 inch celluloid, you’re supposed to think “Brown is Pink.” A clever pin in excellent condition. Here's some added information: we have been contacted by a collector who says this is a 1966 Reagan pin when he ran against Brown for governor. So it is anti Brown, but there seems to be some debate over which election.
