This is one of the toughest of all Hubert Humphrey pins. Humphrey was a civil rights activist and the Solid South was breaking up in 1968, so he had limited support there. In fact, he ended up finishing third behind George Wallace and Richard Nixon. This 2 1/4 inch celluloid is excellent. Arkansas in 1968 voted Republican Win Rockefeller for Governor, William Fulbright Democrat for U.S. Senate and third party George Wallace for president. As they say, "You don't see that too often."
