Anna Howard Shaw was one of the leaders of the suffrage movement. She led an amazing life that included being a medical doctor and one of the first women ministers in the United States as well as being the first woman to receive the Distinguished Service Medal. She died a few months before the 19th Amendment was ratified in 1919. This 7/8 inch celluloid with Steiner back paper is in excellent condition.
