Sunflowers were everywhere in 1936 when Alf Landon ran for president. The flower is the state flower of Kansas, Landon’s home state. This is one of the tougher examples of Landon sunflowers. It’s a 1-inch framed pin with 2 1/2 inch double felt sunflower. Sticker on back from the Photo Ring and Novelty Co. of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Excellent.
