Scarce celluloid picturing the first Adlai Stevenson, grandfather of presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson. The first Adlai was vice president from 1893-1897 and ran for vice president again in 1900, when this pin was made. It’s a 1 1/4 inch celluloid with Robert Johns Wholesale Jeweler of Chicago back paper. Excellent condition. This very choice pin is from Bob Rouse's great Illinois collection.
